Child Protective Services: Investigation, risk assessment, family preservation, trauma-informed work with families in crisis.
Psychiatric Inpatient Care: Crisis intervention, psychiatric assessment, medication management support, working with acute mental illness and suicidality.
Community Mental Health: Long-term case management, crisis work, group facilitation, working with underserved populations.
This breadth of experience means I’ve worked with diverse client populations, managed complex clinical situations, navigated ethical dilemmas, and learned what actually works in real-world practice, and not just what looks good in textbooks.
Case consultation: Bring difficult cases, stuck clients, ethical dilemmas, or clinical questions. We’ll explore your conceptualization, explore alternative approaches, and problem-solve together.
Clinical skill development: Whether you’re just starting out or mid-career, supervision helps you refine your clinical skills: assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic relationship, managing transference, handling crisis.
Trauma-informed & neurodiversity-affirming practice: If you work with trauma survivors or neurodivergent clients (or want to), I can help you develop truly trauma-informed, ND-affirming approaches that go beyond surface-level language.
Emotional processing: Clinical work is emotionally demanding. Part of good supervision is processing your own reactions, vicarious trauma, countertransference, and burnout prevention.
Professional development: Discussion of current literature, evidence-based practices, ethical questions, professional boundaries, self-care, and sustainable practice.
Navigating licensure: If you’re pursuing your LCSW-C, I can guide you through the process: required hours, supervised experience, exam prep, application.
Ethical practice: Working through ethical dilemmas, confidentiality questions, boundary issues, and professional responsibility.
We’ll schedule a 50-minute session at a regular time (weekly, biweekly, or monthly—your preference). You’ll think about what you want supervision focused on: specific cases, skill development, licensure questions, or whatever is most pressing.
During Supervision
We’ll meet virtually (Zoom or Doxy). You’ll bring cases, questions, or topics you want to explore. I’ll ask clarifying questions, offer perspective based on my experience, suggest approaches, and help you develop your own clinical judgment. Supervision is collaborative; my job is to help you think through situations, not to tell you what to do.
Between Sessions
You’ll apply what we’ve discussed to your work, notice what shifts, and bring those observations back. We build on each session.
